Dr. Bures has worked regularly with Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic since joining as a relief veterinarian in October of 2023 and officially joined our team as an associate veterinarian in January of 2025. Dr. Bures graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and spent roughly a year and a half working in Las Vegas following graduation. She returned to the Kansas City area in the fall of 2021 and has been providing relief veterinary services around the Kansas City area since then. Although Dr. Bures specializes in small animal general practice, veterinary radiology and ultrasonography are two areas of particular interest for her. Serving the pets she cares for is her passion: “I love being a voice and advocate for animals when they can’t tell us what is wrong.”

Dr. Bures loves to snuggle up and read a good book with her cat, Moose, who has very particular petting standards and loves a good snack. Outside of her fulfilling career, Dr. Bures enjoys traveling, hiking and rock climbing and has a goal of exploring as many national parks as possible!
